Western Red Hot is sired by superior halter horse RH Stars and Bars, son of  hall of fame  AQHA/PHBA world champion stallion Mr Yella Fella. His paternal grand-dam is Grand Champion and ROM earning RH Commitment who is sired by Socketts Imprint, APHA ROM and Superior halter stallion. His dam, PW Glamorous, was the late weanling Wisconsin State Futurity Champion. Her sire, Superior halter stallion Forever Western, is sired by superior halter stallion, Western Design.

With very limited showing, Gizmo has been successful in the show ring. He was not shown his weanling year but was the Illinois Paint Horse Futurity reserve champion yearling lunge line in open and non-pro as well as reserve champion APHA yearling halter stallion. His 2 year old year he was the futurity reserve champion  halter stallions/geldings and APHA open and circuit champion halter stallion. He was also circuit champion amateur lunge line and NSBA champion open and amateur lunge line.
