Owner: Yeguada Hermanos Mendoza
Yeguada's family has been around horses for 100 years—woven into their days, values, and roots.
To continue this beautiful tradition, they chose the Pura Raza Española (PRE) not just for its grace and strength, but for the legacy it carries in every generation.
And within the PRE world, they’re especially proud of the Escalera lineage—because their program has been around for more than 300 years. It’s the kind of history you can feel: dedication, consistency, and a deep commitment to preserving what matters.
Here’s to the horses that brought us together, the traditions we inherited, and the future we’re building—one PRE, one Escalera, and one generation at a time.
Sire: Joyero MFE is an imported stallion from Yeguada Escalera (the best stud farm in the world per SICAB
2021) and a dressage champion who continues to sire world-class foals that place top 5 within every category in Mexico. Ganaderia Hermanos Favier, the renown stud farm dedicated to reproducing horses that are 100% Yeguada Escalera.
Yeguada Escalera is the oldest PRE (Pura Raza Española) stud farm owned and managed by the same family since 1731. During their early stages, these magnificent horses could only be found amongst the royal families in Portugal and Spain. The earliest reference proving their presence in the Portuguese and Spanish courts is a document from Doctrina del Cavallo made to the name of Sr. Don Juan, The Prince of Portugal del Brasil in 1731. This legendary stud farm/ lineage is best recognized for its PRESTIGE, ANTIQUITY and QUALITY.
